Message from our Worshipful Master:

Dear Brethren of Esdraelon,

As we return to labor this fall, we have many exciting events ahead. We plan to begin the season with a Second Degree. Additionally, we have a unique opportunity on October 8th to host a Civil War presentation, which will be open to friends and family.

Please note that meals will be served before every meeting, so I encourage you to arrive early to enjoy fellowship with your brothers.

If anyone is interested in becoming a line officer or a catechism instructor, please reach out.
Furthermore, if you have any ideas on how to improve our great Lodge, we would love to hear from you.

Message from the Secretary’s desk:

Brethren,

We have had a great year and this fall will be full of activity as well.

On a sad note: I was informed that Bro. Harold Valentine Harbold II passed to the Celestial Lodge this past Sunday, September 6. I spoke with his son, Bro. Eric Harbold, no service details are available. A Celebration of Life is being considered in the future. A special notice will be sent to the craft.

Bro. Harold was raised on April 23, 1998. He will be missed by all. Please keep Bro. Harold, Bro. Eric and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

On a personal note, I have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and start my treatment journey on September 10th. It will be a long road; however, I have a great medical team and an amazing support system.

Bro. Allen M. “Mac” Lloyd will be covering my in-person duties as Lodge secretary.

I will be behind the curtain supporting you and the Lodge the best I can.

If you need anything, please feel free to reach out.

We have 1 Entered Apprentice and 1 Fellowcraft in the pipeline.

I encourage you to come out and support these advancing brethren and your line officers.

I look forward to seeing you next year after my treatment and recovery is complete.

Fall Lodge Schedule:

Of special note: The Lodge officers have decided to provide a meal before each stated communication. The meal will be served one hour prior to the meeting. Donations to offset the cost of the dinner are always appreciated!

September 10, 2026: Stated communication 7:00 pm. Dinner to be served at 6:00 pm prior to the meeting. We have been granted a dispensation to start our meeting at 7:00 pm. Regular order of business. Confer the Fellowcraft for Bro. Ryan Anthony Chassereau.

September 24, 2026: Stated communication 7:30 pm, Dinner served at 6:30 pm. Regular order of business.

October 3, 2026: Harvest Home Day, 6:00 am to 10:00 am, Food served until 9:00 am.
Open to all Free Masons and male guests. $5.00 donation.

October 8, 2026: Special event. We have been granted a dispensation to cancel our regular meeting and host a speaker. Our program will be “The Day the War stopped”
Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm, program will start at 7:00 pm.

October 22, 2026: Stated communication 7:30 pm, Dinner served at 6:30 pm.
Regular order of business. Catechism for Brethren that are ready.

November 12, 2026: Stated communication 7:30 pm, Regular order of business.

November 21, 2026: Grand Lodge of Maryland, Annual Communication. Details to be published.
